And The Silence From The Dims in Congress is Deafening!
Al-Qaeda In Iraq Reported Crippled
Many Officials, However, Warn Of Its Resilience
By Thomas E. Ricks and Karen DeYoung

Monday, October 15, 2007; A01
The U.S. military believes it has dealt devastating and perhaps irreversible blows to al-Qaeda in Iraq in recent months, leading some generals to advocate a declaration of victory over the group, which the Bush administration has long described as the most lethal U.S. adversary in Iraq.
But as the White House and its military commanders plan the next phase of the war, other officials have cautioned against taking what they see as a premature step that could create strategic and political difficulties for the United States. Such a declaration could fuel criticism that the Iraq conflict has become a civil war in which U.S. combat forces should not be involved. At the same time, the intelligence community, and some in the military itself, worry about underestimating an enemy that has shown great resilience in the past.
"I think it would be premature at this point," a senior intelligence official said of a victory declaration over AQI, as the group is known. Despite recent U.S. gains, he said, AQI retains "the ability for surprise and for catastrophic attacks." Earlier periods of optimism, such as immediately following the June 2006 death of AQI founder Abu Musab al-Zarqawi in a U.S. air raid, not only proved unfounded but were followed by expanded operations by the militant organization.
There is widespread agreement that AQI has suffered major blows over the past three months. Among the indicators cited is a sharp drop in suicide bombings, the group's signature attack, from more than 60 in January to around 30 a month since July. Captures and interrogations of AQI leaders over the summer had what a senior military intelligence official called a "cascade effect," leading to other killings and captures. The flow of foreign fighters through Syria into Iraq has also diminished, although officials are unsure of the reason and are concerned that the broader al-Qaeda network may be diverting new recruits to Afghanistan and elsewhere...

A Tale Of Two Houses (Gore's Inconvenient Truth)
Here's some interesting information.
You can check this out on Snopes.com under "The Story of Two Houses", or just click HERE
House #1 A 20 room mansion (not including 8 bathrooms) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool (and a pool house) and a separate guest house, all heated by gas. In one month this residence consumes more energy than the average American household does in a year. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2400. In natural gas alone, this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not situated in a Northern or Midwestern "snow belt" area. It's in the South.
House #2 Designed by an architecture professor at a leading national university. This house incorporates every "green" feature current home construction can provide. The house is 4,000 square feet ( 4 bedrooms ) and is nestled on a high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat-pumps drawing ground water through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground. The water (usually 67 degrees F. ) heats the house in the winter and cools it i n the summer. The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas and it consumes one-quarter electricity required for a conventional heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastewater from showers, sinks and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Surrounding flowers and shrubs native to the area enable the property to blend into the surrounding rural landscape.
HOUSE #1 is outside of Nashville, Tennessee; it is the abode of the "environmentalist" Al Gore.
HOUSE #2 is on a ranch ne ar Crawford, Texas; it is the residence the of the President of the United States, George W. Bush.
An "inconvenient truth".

Dear Senator (whorish sellout) / Americans Take It In The A**!!
Actual letter from an Iowa resident and sent to his senator)
The Honorable Tom Harkin
731 Hart Senate Office Building
Phone (202) 224 3254
Washington DC, 20510
Dear Senator Harkin,
As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.
My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently proposed by the Senate and for which you voted for cloture on. If my understanding of this bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.
Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.
Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year.
Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as 'in-state' tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.
Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still have college age children driving my car.
If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative.
Thank you for your assistance.
Your Loyal Constituent,
Donald Ruppert

Global Warming: Religion Of The Lefty Loons
Local scientist calls global warming theory 'hooey'
Samara Kalk Derby — 6/18/2007 8:01 am
Reid Bryson, known as the father of scientific climatology, considers global warming a bunch of hooey.
The UW-Madison professor emeritus, who stands against the scientific consensus on this issue, is referred to as a global warming skeptic. But he is not skeptical that global warming exists, he is just doubtful that humans are the cause of it.
There is no question the earth has been warming. It is coming out of the "Little Ice Age," he said in an interview this week.
"However, there is no credible evidence that it is due to mankind and carbon dioxide. We've been coming out of a Little Ice Age for 300 years. We have not been making very much carbon dioxide for 300 years. It's been warming up for a long time," Bryson said.
The Little Ice Age was driven by volcanic activity. That settled down so it is getting warmer, he said.
Humans are polluting the air and adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, but the effect is tiny, Bryson said.
"It's like there is an elephant charging in and you worry about the fact that there is a fly sitting on its head. It's just a total misplacement of emphasis," he said. "It really isn't science because there's no really good scientific evidence."
Just because almost all of the scientific community believes in man-made global warming proves absolutely nothing, Bryson said. "Consensus doesn't prove anything, in science or anywhere else, except in democracy, maybe."
Bryson, 87, was the founding chairman of the department of meteorology at UW-Madison and of the Institute for Environmental Studies, now known as the Gaylord Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies. He retired in 1985, but has gone into the office almost every day since. He does it without pay.
"I have now worked for zero dollars since I retired, long enough that I have paid back the people of Wisconsin every cent they paid me to give me a wonderful, wonderful career. So we are even now. And I feel good about that," said Bryson.
So, if global warming isn't such a burning issue, why are thousands of scientists so concerned about it?
"Why are so many thousands not concerned about it?" Bryson shot back.
"There is a lot of money to be made in this," he added. "If you want to be an eminent scientist you have to have a lot of grad students and a lot of grants. You can't get grants unless you say, 'Oh global warming, yes, yes, carbon dioxide.'"
Speaking out against global warming is like being a heretic, Bryson noted.
And it's not something that he does regularly.
"I can't waste my time on that, I have too many other things to do," he said.
But if somebody asks him for his opinion on global warming, he'll give it. "And I think I know about as much about it as anybody does."

UN's Ban Ki-moon Just Batty! (Another Muslim Enabler)
Climate change behind Darfur killing: UN's Ban
Jun 16 05:27 PM US/Eastern
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said that the slaughter in Darfur was triggered by global climate change and that more such conflicts may be on the horizon, in an article published Saturday.
"The Darfur conflict began as an ecological crisis, arising at least in part from climate change," Ban said in a Washington Post opinion column.
UN statistics showed that rainfall declined some 40 percent over the past two decades, he said, as a rise in Indian Ocean temperatures disrupted monsoons.
"This suggests that the drying of sub-Saharan Africa derives, to some degree, from man-made global warming," the South Korean diplomat wrote.
"It is no accident that the violence in Darfur erupted during the drought," Ban said in the Washington daily.....

Goodbye Media Whore! Good Riddance!
Cindy Sheehan Quits as 'Face' of Anti-War Movement
Tuesday, May 29, 2007
Cindy Sheehan, the "peace mom" who made headlines in 2005 by staging a marathon protest outside President Bush's Crawford, Texas, ranch, said Monday that she no longer wants to be seen as a leader of the anti-war movement.
In a 1,245-word missive entitled "Goodbye Attention Whore" posted on the liberal DailyKos blog, Sheehan said her campaign to end the war in Iraq had strained her relationship with her children, cost her a marriage and left her nearly penniless.
"This is my resignation letter as the 'face' of the American anti-war movement," Sheehan wrote. "I am going to take whatever I have left and go home. I am going to go home and be a mother to my surviving children and try to regain some of what I have lost."
Sheehan founded the Gold Star Families for Peace after her son, Casey Sheehan, a 24-year-old Army specialist, was killed in an April 2004 battle in Baghdad. Sheehan was an outspoken critic of the Bush administration's policies and was often a target of criticism herself for visiting with leftist leaders like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez.
Sheehan, however, said she had become increasingly disillusioned with the Democratic Party. In an open letter to the Democratic members of Congress on Saturday, however, she announced that she was leaving the Party because she believed its leaders had failed to change the country's course in Iraq.
"I was the darling of the so-called left as long as I limited my protests to George Bush and the Republican Party. Of course, I was slandered and libeled by the right as a 'tool' of the Democratic Party." Sheehan wrote. "However, when I started to hold the Democratic Party to the same standards that I held the Republican Party, support for my cause started to erode and the 'left' started labeling me with the same slurs that the right used."

Maybe she should consider calling it quits as the "face" of Gilligan!

Shocking? Hardly! Islam Is A Violent Cult!
Poll: One in Four U.S. Muslims OK With Homicide Bombings Against Innocent Civilians
Wednesday, May 23, 2007
WASHINGTON — One in four younger U.S. Muslims said in a poll that homicide bombings to defend their religion are acceptable at least in some circumstances, though most Muslim Americans overwhelmingly reject the tactic and are critical of Islamic extremism and Al Qaeda.
The survey by the Pew Research Center, one of the most exhaustive ever of the country's Muslims, revealed a community that in many ways blends comfortably into society. Its largely mainstream members express nearly as much happiness with their lives and communities as the general public does, show a broad willingness to adopt American customs, and have income and education levels similar to others in the United States.
Even so, the survey revealed noteworthy pockets of discontent.
While nearly 80 percent of U.S. Muslims say homicide bombings of civilians to defend Islam can not be justified, 13 percent say they can be, at least rarely.
That sentiment is strongest among those younger than 30. Two percent of them say it can often be justified, 13 percent say sometimes and 11 percent say rarely.
"It is a hair-raising number," said Radwan Masmoudi, president of the Washington-based Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy, which promotes the compatibility of Islam with democracy.
He said most supporters of the attacks likely assumed the context was a fight against occupation — a term Muslims often use to describe the conflict with Israel.
U.S. Muslims have growing Internet and television access to extreme ideologies, he said, adding: "People, especially younger people, are susceptible to these ideas."
Federal officials have warned the U.S. must guard against homegrown terrorism, as the British suffered with the London transit bombings of 2005.
Even so, U.S. Muslims are far less accepting of suicide attacks than Muslims in many other nations. In Pew surveys last year, support in some Muslim countries exceeded 50 percent, while it was considered justifiable by about one in four Muslims in Britain and Spain, and one in three in France.
"We have crazies just like other faiths have them," said Eide Alawan, who directs interfaith outreach at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Mich., one of the nation's largest mosques. He said killing innocent people contradicts Islam.
Andrew Kohut, Pew director, said in an interview that support for the attacks represented "one of the few trouble spots" in the survey.
The poll briefly describes the rationales for and against "suicide bombing and other forms of violence against civilian targets" and then asks, "Do you personally feel that this kind of violence is often justified to defend Islam, sometimes justified, rarely justified, or never justified?"
The question did not specify where a suicide attack might occur, who might carry it out or what was meant by using a bombing to "defend Islam."
Those of all ages backing at least some suicide attacks were about evenly divided between men and women, with support stronger from those who were U.S.-born and less educated, and those who attend mosques at least weekly.
In other findings:
— Only 5 percent of U.S. Muslims expressed favorable views of the terrorist group al-Qaida, though about a fourth did not express an opinion.
— Most said they are concerned about a rise in Islamic extremism in the U.S. and around the world.
— Only 40 percent said they believe Arab men carried out the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
— By six to one, they say the U.S. was wrong to invade Iraq, while a third say the same about Afghanistan — far deeper than the opposition expressed by the general U.S. public.
— Just over half said it has been harder being a U.S. Muslim since the 9/11 attacks. Nearly a third of those who flew in the past year say they underwent extra screening because they are Muslim.
— Forty-seven percent said they consider themselves Muslim first, rather than American. Forty-two percent of Christians and 62 percent of white evangelical Protestants identified themselves primarily by their religion in earlier surveys.
— By six-to-one, they favor the Democratic Party over the Republican Party, and by five-to-one say they voted for Democratic Sen. John Kerry over President Bush in 2004.
The survey estimates there are roughly 2.35 million Muslim Americans. Among adults, two-thirds are from abroad while a fifth are U.S.-born blacks.
By law, the Census Bureau does not ask about people's religions.
Telephone interviews were conducted with 1,050 Muslim adults from January through April, including in Arabic, Urdu and Farsi. Subjects were chosen at random, from a separate list of households including some with Muslim-sounding names, and from Muslim households that had answered previous surveys.
The margin of sampling error was plus or minus 5 percentage points
-----------------------------
Many things scare me about this article but I'll limit my comments to two things:
1. Only 40% believe that 9/11 was carried out by Arab (read muslim) men. A belief they share with the nut-job Rosie O'Donnell. Denial ain't just a river in Egypt!
2. 47% of the muzzies consider themselves muslims first and American second. Much like the illegal invaders that stream across our southern border, the muzzies refuse to assimilate to our culture. This will continue to perpeuate the dissentegration of our country and culture to the point that, within the next 50 years, we will resemble France. Like France, we will be an entitlement society that relies on our governement to take care of us. Our culture and competitive advantage will be gone. I weep for our future.
What we face today is a clash of civilizations! Unless we stand up for ourselves, civilized society will cease to exist.

Lindsay Lohan caught snorting cocaine
A friend of Lindsay Lohan has leaked a video of Lindsay snorting cocaine and shoving it up a friend's nose while the two were crammed in a toilet at club Teddy's. The video was taken just 20 days after she left rehab and in it she's also heard saying: "I'm going to New York tomorrow to fuck Jude Law." The friend that leaked the video says she's worried about Lindsay and "that's why I'm showing this video. So the world can know what Lindsay has been doing and she can't lie about it to herself or anyone else." She also says:
"That night I saw her do more than 20 big lines of cocaine. She was still up doing drugs at 11am even though she had started about 8pm the night before. She wasn't even trying to hide it and was blatantly doing it off table tops, keys, books and in the wardrobe, where she was hunched over with her legs crossed almost bent in half doing it off some magazine on the floor. I remember looking at her and thinking how pathetic she looked and how out of control she had become. When she is on coke, which is most of the time, all the attention has to be on her. I have lost count of the number of times I have watched as she stripped naked in front of everyone. Then she loves to check herself out in the mirror as she parades around with her boobs hanging out. One night we had gone back to her place and, as always, as soon as she walked through the door she stripped down to her thong, bent down and snorted cocaine off her coffee table and then off her toilet seat. She has told me that she has slept with James Blunt, Jude Law, Calum Best, Joaquin Phoenix, Benicio Del Toro, Jared Leto and James Franco. She loves Brits and has told me she has slept with the singer James Blunt a few times over the past month. The last time was on April 15 after another house party. I think they went back to a hotel together afterwards. She is very protective over him and when she heard I had met him she sent me a text saying, 'Stay away from him Bitch, he is mine.' Lindsay told me she has messed around with Leonardo DiCaprio a while ago too but claimed that she didn't sleep with him. She also flew to New York about two months ago to go to bed with Jude Law. Last November she slept with Calum Best. She didn't tell me if he was any good but she is usually too wasted to know what is going on anyway. Going to rehab was all for publicity. She wanted people to see her seeking help but it hasn't got her off the drugs at all. In an average night Lindsay will do two and half grams of coke on her own. She doesn't buy it - she is given it by friends and acquaintances, and it turns her into an angry monster. I have watched many a time Lindsay treating her staff like crap."

Where Does Obama Get His Inspiration From??
BY JAMES TARANTO
Tuesday, May 1, 2007 3:32 p.m. EDT
Who Is Jeremiah Wright?
He is pastor of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ and the man who led Barack Obama "from skeptic to self-described Christian," reports the New York Times. And he has some ideas and history many Americans will find troubling:
In 1984, he traveled to Cuba to teach Christians about the value of nonviolent protest and to Libya to visit Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, along with the Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan. Mr. Wright said his visits implied no endorsement of their views. . . .
Mr. Wright preached black liberation theology, which interprets the Bible as the story of the struggles of black people, who by virtue of their oppression are better able to understand Scripture than those who have suffered less. That message can sound different to white audiences, said Dwight Hopkins, a professor at University of Chicago Divinity School and a Trinity member. "Some white people hear it as racism in reverse," Dr. Hopkins said, while blacks hear, "Yes, we are somebody, we're also made in God's image."
It was a 1988 sermon called "The Audacity to Hope" that turned Mr. Obama, in his late 20s, from spiritual outsider to enthusiastic churchgoer. . . .
While Mr. Obama stated his opposition to the Iraq war in conventional terms, Mr. Wright issued a "War on Iraq I.Q. Test," with questions like, "Which country do you think poses the greatest threat to global peace: Iraq or the U.S.?" . . .
Mr. Wright's political statements may be more controversial than his theological ones. He has said that Zionism has an element of "white racism." (For its part, the Anti-Defamation League says it has no evidence of any anti-Semitism by Mr. Wright.)
On the Sunday after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Mr. Wright said the attacks were a consequence of violent American policies. Four years later he wrote that the attacks had proved that "people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just 'disappeared' as the Great White West went on its merry way of ignoring Black concerns."
Obama doesn't agree entirely with these sentiments; he says, "The violence of 9/11 was inexcusable and without justification," and explains away his mentor's comments to the contrary as "trying to be provocative."
The piece ends with this revealing quote:
"If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me," Mr. Wright said with a shrug. "I said it to Barack personally, and he said yeah, that might have to happen."
So you see, the real danger here isn't racist or anti-American views. It's cynicism.

"That Douche, Harry Reid!"
Irate Marine in Ramadi Responds to 'War is Lost' Message
Mon Apr 23 2007 13:07:1 ET
From PatDollard.com:
This Email To Me, Harry, And America, Direct From A Grunt On The Front Lines Of Ramadi, Is Just Hours Old.
A view from OP Horea, “Most Dangerous Spot On Earth”, Downtown Ramadi. I no shit watched several terrorists die, on several different days, on this small strip of asphalt. We also took many IED strikes on it.
Today, from Corporal Tyler Rock in an outpost in downtown Ramadi. His first sentence is in response to an email from me:
“yeah i know how you feel. its going to be very weird leaving this place and going back to america. weve been here for almost an entire year and have lived in the center of it the whole time. its crazy that when we got here it was so hectic and now its calmed down so much. so it was awesome to be able to see that turn out.
yeah news worth reporting…. well ramadi was once dubbed by everyone as the worst city in the world. but we have done such a great job here that all the families in the area have worked with us on driving out the insurgency and that we work directly with the IA and the IP’s. the city has been cleaned up so well that the IP’s do most of the patrols now and we go out with them to hand out candy and toys to the children. you can tell that the people want us here to protect them from the thugs and gangs (insurgents). granted they would rather have peace and quit but they know that if we arent here they will be thrown around by the insurgents. a good example is this one mission we did. long story short we got blown up in multiple buildings and had to run into a families house. i spent my christmas holidays covered in ash from the mortar fire and the IED’s, sleeping under a dirty rug i found in the house. everyone was sleeping way to close for comfort just to stay warm. anyways. a family was there and they obviously didnt want us there. atleast at first. the daughters were very sick so our corpsman treated them. they didnt have electricity so we got them a generator for power, they were cold so we got them gas heaters, we got them food and water and then we gave them $500. by the end of the week long visit with them we were drinking tea with them. when we left we cleaned their house better than it was when we got there. i even have pictures with the family. they told us that they liked marines and they would help us as much as they could and they gave us some information on the insurgents in the area. we ended up catching a HUGE target down the road from there house because of it.
yeah and i got a qoute for that douche harry reid.
these families need us here. obviously he has never been in iraq. or atleast the area worth seeing. the parts where insurgency is rampant and the buildings are blown to pieces. we need to stay here and help rebuild. if iraq didnt want us here then why do we have IP’s voluntering everyday to rebuild their cities. and working directly with us too. same with the IA’s. it sucks that iraqi’s have more patriotism for a country that has turned to complete shit more than the people in america who drink starbucks everyday. we could leave this place and say we are sorry to the terrorists. and then we could wait for 3,000 more american civilians to die before we say “hey thats not nice” again. and the sad thing is after we WIN this war. people like him will say he was there for us the whole time.
and for messages back home. i have a wife back home who is going through a tough time. i just cant wait to be back home and see everyone. haha and i cant wait to go back home and get some starbucks. i love it when those people serve me. hahaha”

STUPID is as STUPID does...
The Deadly Consequences of Gross Stupidity
The Fifth Column
JB Williams
April 11, 2007
When you allow stupid people into any form of power, you must expect them to do stupid things with that power. In fact, as Pelosi is fast proving, you can count on it…If their power is limited to queen of the shopping mall, you’ll probably survive it. But when they start pretending to be queen of the free world, the consequences can become deadly.
The New US Foreign Policy
Comrade Pelosi’s current Treason Tour through the Mideast provides a great example of why you should never allow a little old liberal lady from San Freakcisco to play world leader or numbskull diplomat. She speaks only for Code Pinko Democrats, not America or Israel.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi wasn’t 48 hours into her "unauthorized" diplomacy trip to visit enemies of the United States before her stupidity caught up with her. Within days, Pelosi finds herself at the epicenter of a growing international incident. Stupid is as stupid does.
Despite directives from the elected US commander-in-chief to keep her legislative nose out of executive branch powers, to not engage our enemies directly in an ongoing partisan effort to undermine official US foreign policy initiatives, Pelosi boarded her Starship Stupid with a few of her partisan dimwit friends and set down in the heart of enemy territory for "unauthorized" diplomatic talks with the enemy. Somebody had better hand her a copy of the Logan Act and fast!
The Logan Act is a single federal statute making it a crime for any US citizen (including simple minded legislators who should know better) to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits all US citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without proper authorization. It’s as if this language was written specifically for Pelosi herself and this set of circumstances. But it was written and passed into law in 1799, last amended in 1994.
"We came in friendship, hope, and determined that the road to Damascus is a road to peace," Pelosi told reporters after her talks with Assad. Of course, Assad and his state are well known supporters of international terrorism currently responsible for training, funding and arming terrorist crossing into Iraq for the purpose of killing American soldiers and innocent Iraqi citizens. Who said terrorism doesn’t work? It made Nancy and her dimwit buddies want to negotiate…
She told Assad, Syria, the international press and America that she brought a message of peace from Israeli Prime Minister Olmert. She said that Olmert asked her to tell Assad that they were "ready to talk peace with Syria".
Assad, Syria, the press and many foolish Americans quickly (but wrongly) interpreted her message similarly, "Everyone knows there are different points of view between Syria and the United States." "We are happy that Mrs. Pelosi and her (unauthorized and unofficial) delegation had the courage and determination to bridge these differences."
However, immediately following press reports of Pelosi’s faux diplomacy in Syria, official word came from the Israeli government. "What was communicated to the US House Speaker does not contain any change in the policies of Israel, as was communicated to other foreign leaders," a statement from Olmert's office said.
Ehud Olmert's office emphatically denied that Israel relayed any message to Syria via Nancy Pelosi accepting Syrian calls to renew peace negotiations.
The Prime Minister's Office stressed that Olmert had instead told Pelosi that "Israel continued to regard Syria as part of the axis of evil and a party encouraging terrorism in the entire Middle East."
This is a message quite different than that delivered by Pelosi in her attempt to circumvent both US and Israeli official positions relative the terror sponsor state. And the international incident was underway…

Keith Richards: 'I Snorted My Father'
Apr 3 03:14 PM US/Eastern
LONDON (AP) - Keith Richards has acknowledged consuming a raft of illegal substances in his time, but this may top them all.
In comments published Tuesday, the 63-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist said he had snorted his father's ashes mixed with cocaine.
"The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father," Richards was quoted as saying by British music magazine NME.
"He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared," he said. "... It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive."
Richards' father, Bert, died in 2002, at 84.
Richards, one of rock's legendary wild men, told the magazine that his survival was the result of luck, and advised young musicians against trying to emulate him.
"I did it because that was the way I did it. Now people think it's a way of life," he was quoted as saying.
"I've no pretensions about immortality," he added. "I'm the same as everyone ... just kind of lucky.
"I was No. 1 on the `who's likely to die' list for 10 years. I mean, I was really disappointed when I fell off the list," Richards said.

It doesn't matter whether you put Hillary's, Barack's, or any other big government proponents face in the commercial, they still all want the same thing: to take all of your money and redistribute it how they see fit. This is how they control the masses and tell you what to think, say, and do!
One question: Who do you think can do a better job of determining the best way to spend your hard-earned money, you or the government?
Barack in not change, Barack IS the status quo!
VOTE FOR TAX REFORM! VOTE FOR SMALL GOVERNMENT! KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR MONEY AND YOUR LIFE!

Convenient Truth: GLOBAL COOLING ALERT!!!
February was coldest in 28 years
Mar 05, 2007 12:13 PM
Curtis Rush
Staff Reporter
If you thought February was particularly cold, you were right.
Frigid conditions made the month the coldest February in 28 years, according to Environment Canada’s senior climatologist David Phillips.
Not since 1979 has February dished up such bone-rattling conditions.
The average temperature was -8.4C, which was three degreescolder than normal.
That also made it the fifth coldest February since 1937 when weather records were first kept at what is now Pearson International Airport.
It followed an unusually mild January.
The month was also distinguished by a lack of rain.
Usually in Feburary, the temperature rises enough that we get some rain.
However, this was the first February since 1978 and only the second ever when we didn’t get one drop of rain.
"This was winter at its worst," Phillips said.
Today’s weather will be cold, but there is the promise of spring around the corner.
Environment Canada is predicting temperatures will rise to 3C by Friday.
And although we have had snowfalls right through May in some years, the law of averages suggests we may have had our last snowstorm of the season.
In the months of March, April and May, there is only a 21 per cent chance of any snow falling, according to Phillips.
Environment Canada is also calling for normal temperatures through March, April and May.

Killer's Religion Not Known??? You Be The Judge.
Unfortunately, due to copyright laws, I am unable to post this article. It would certainly be worth your time, however, to read it HERE!
There are a couple of alarming things about this overtly PC article from this rag of a paper.
First, the paper states that the perp is accused of "trying" to run over two students due to a religious discussion. NO! He is in fact CHARGED with criminal homicide because he did, IN FACT, run over and kill one of the students.
Second, the paper states that the religion of Ibrahim Sheikh Ahmed is NOT known. While this might be "technically true", I think anyone with half a brain knows EXACTLY what his religion is and I think it would most likely be the same as that of the guy in the picture above. It would have taken very little effort by the writer of this article to research his background and confirm that he is, IN FACT, MUSLIM!!!
Why is there such a huge effort by the media to protect the "religion of peace and tolerance" when Islam is the MAIN force behind religious persecution, intolerance, murder of innocents, and the stifling of free speech in the world today??!!
Disgusting!

He Was Almost Our President - SKerry!
John Kerry Slams His Own Country At Davos
Jan 27 2007 7:52PM
http://sayanythingblog.com/index.php
Here’s John Kerry speaking while sitting just a few feet away from Mohammad Khatami, the former President of the Iranian terror state.
Kerry was asked about whether the U.S. government had failed to adequately engage Iran’s government before the election of hard-liner Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in 2005.
Kerry said the Bush administration has failed in addressing a number of foreign policy issues.
“When we walk away from global warming, Kyoto, when we are irresponsibly slow in moving toward AIDS in Africa, when we don’t advance and live up to our own rhetoric and standards, we set a terrible message of duplicity and hypocrisy,” Kerry said.
“So we have a crisis of confidence in the Middle East — in the world, really. I’ve never seen our country as isolated, as much as a sort of international pariah for a number of reasons as it is today.”…
Kerry criticized what he called the “unfortunate habit” of Americans to see the world “exclusively through an American lens.”
The Bush administration walked away from Kyoto? Methinks the Senator is revising history:
On July 25, 1997, before the Kyoto Protocol was finalized (although it had been fully negotiated, and a penultimate draft was finished), the U.S. Senate unanimously passed by a 95–0 vote the Byrd-Hagel Resolution (S. Res. 98), which stated the sense of the Senate was that the United States should not be a signatory to any protocol that did not include binding targets and timetables for developing as well as industrialized nations or “would result in serious harm to the economy of the United States”. On November 12, 1998, Vice President Al Gore symbolically signed the protocol. Both Gore and Senator Joseph Lieberman indicated that the protocol would not be acted upon in the Senate until there was participation by the developing nations. The Clinton Administration never submitted the protocol to the Senate for ratification. . . .
The current President, George W. Bush, has indicated that he does not intend to submit the treaty for ratification, not because he does not support the Kyoto principles, but because of the exemption granted to China (the world’s second largest emitter of carbon dioxide). Bush also opposes the treaty because of the strain he believes the treaty would put on the economy; he emphasizes the uncertainties which he asserts are present in the climate change issue.
It was a unanimous Senate (with five abstainers) as well as the Clinton administration who walked away from Kyoto. The current administration walked away from Kyoto as well, but for the same reasons as the Clinton administration. Kerry himself, in fact, voted for the Byrd-Hagel Resolution to keep us out of Kyoto. Yet here he is now, a decade later, dishonestly accusing the current administration of isolating this country from the world on an issue like Kyoto that Kerry himself opposed for the very same reasons the Bush administration opposes it.
Why should we believe anything that comes out of this guy’s mouth? It’s bad enough that he’s sitting next to one of America’s enemies bad mouthing his own country, but he’s flat-out lying in what he’s saying as well.
Oh, and stopping off to give an autograph to a guy who supports executing gays for being gay is a real nice touch. But don’t expect any of the gay rights groups to hold Kerry accountable for that, though.

The Future Is Now
I'll always remember as a child whenever you would see an artists rendition of what the future would be like or would read a sci-fi writers discription of the post 2000 world, it always included flying cars and silver suits. Well, we still don't have flying cars (probably a government conspiracy, but that's for another rant) but we now have SILVER SUITS!

Dolce & Gabbana out of this world with space glamour
By Jo Winterbottom Sun Jan 14, 1:43 PM ET
MILAN (Reuters) - Milan's fashion designers, having put up the for sale signs onwinter collections, launched their ideas on Sunday for what men should be wearing next autumn -- and Dolce & Gabbana said it would be space-age glitter.
Dario Fo may have lamented last week that catwalk shows are boring but Dolce & Gabbana's, themed on the film "2001 -- A Space Odyssey," won audience applause and "overwhelmed" Jake Shears of glam rock band the Scissor Sisters.
Models in space-suit style zip-heavy jumpsuits in whites and metallic colours strode down the catwalk, watched by over 1,000 reporters, buyers and photographers, as the lights flicked from blue to white and the film's soundtrack filled the converted cinema.
Sharp-lined suits echoed the space theme, also using metallic colours, while razor-thin ties in black, gold and gun metal over white shirts poked out under both the jumpsuits and the slicker suits. There was metallic knitwear -- in both chunky, country-style shapes and slim-fitting.
"I was a bit overwhelmed that there was so much stuff that just looked fantastic," Shears told Reuters after the show.
He picked out bronze metallic suits and white leather lean tailored jackets over jeans as especially attractive to wear.
"I love the slim silhouette. I'm crazy about it because I know that it fits me, because I'm a little guy," he said.
The straight, slim silhouette strutted down Versace's catwalks too, where platinum-blonde Donatella Versace sent her models out in black, military-style coats and suits.
The designer had already moved away from her trademark flamboyant style at the menswear spring-summer show in June 2006 and Sunday's offering continued the more muted approach.
SPLASHES OF Color
Kingfisher flashes or red scars of plastic livened up black jumpers and black-and-white blooms of bowties added a twist to elegant, somber evening wear.
Versace's "Noble Chic" show included some women's wear too, with little black dresses sporting similar flashy splashes teamed with achingly high shiny heeled shoes.
Men's fashion shows do not attract as many attendees as those for women's wear, but Milan this week still hosts over 1,200 photographers and reporters, along with major international buyers.
From January 14 to January 18 there are 51 shows for 50 brands -- there's a double helping of Giorgio Armani on Wednesday -- at venues across the city, from Dolce & Gabbana's converted cinema to the stock market.
Fo himself will introduce Romeo Gigli's show on January 18, closing the week's events. The 80-year-old playwright will grace a catwalk that will be surrounded by life-sized reproductions of Renaissance paintings of an imperial triumph.
Other big names on show during the week include Roberto Cavalli, Prada and Gucci.
Belstaff, the epitome of British biker jackets which is now owned by the Malenotti family, promises a collection inspired by Steve McQueen for Wednesday, according to Italian Vanity Fair.
"The shows are ... a great sounding board and a great public relations instrument," Dolce & Gabbana told Reuters last week.
